Back in November/December of 2024, I had the joyous pleasure of being part of the Holiday Extravaganza at The Great American Melodrama. In Act I, I played Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol. In Act II, I played the King in Sleeping Beauty. And in Act III, I played the Holiday Joy version of Brett in the Vaudeville. The whole show was a blast, but the King is a role I will never forget. This was the last show of my 2024 contract, and I loved spending the majority of my year bringing smiles to folks on the Central Coast with the most amazing group of people a guy could ask for.

Kent, a Class-A former jock with Super Strength, dreams of joining the town's super squad alongside his hero, Captain Metal. For now he works at Burger Town with his friends Jessie, a down-to-earth Class-B girl with Invisibility, and Mikey, a naive Class-C boy with an audience-chosen power.
When the villain Minerva escapes from prison, a plot unfolds that sees the three friends hired to work for Captain Metal — or so they think. Through crime-fighting together, Kent learns a thing or two about life, and that he isn't going to be handed everything he wants.
Kent, a wannabe hero with Super Strength, dreams of joining the town's super squad alongside his hero, Captain Metal. For now he works at Burger Town with his friends Cassie, an over-it oracle blessed (and cursed) with Future Sight, and Mikey, a naive dreamer whose power is chosen by the audience.

Hello! My name is Brett Mollard, and I am an artist, creator, and actor based on the California central coast. I am passionate about using storytelling as a powerful tool for understanding and addressing the larger issues in our society.
I grew up in Santa Rosa, California, and earned my bachelor's degree in Communications from Sonoma State University. I performed in Sonoma County from 2011–2019, and graduated from the Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts in 2023. I was a founding member of Redwood Theatre Company in Healdsburg, where I first produced my original musical, The Super Trio.
I strongly believe that storytelling can be a force for both good and bad in our society. When used responsibly, it has the power to bring people together and create positive change — but when used for harmful purposes, such as spreading dehumanizing propaganda or conspiracy theories, it can be dangerous.
As an artist, I believe it is our responsibility to be careful about the stories we choose to tell, and to listen to those who are not always heard. I am passionate about creating works that are accessible to all, regardless of socioeconomic status or privilege.
My work is primarily focused on the 18–25 age group, who I believe are underestimated and underutilized. I am committed to creating work that brings people together.

In September/October 2024 I played Doinkster in Werewolf of Arroyo Grande (from the genius mind of Cameron Parker) at The Great American Melodrama — plus Big Chicken, and the British Invasion Vaudeville. Had an excellent time Doinkstering, big-chickening, and Beatling.
In July/August 2024 I played Mayor Maynott in Gunsmokin' at The Great American Melodrama, followed by the Planes, Trains & Automobiles vaudeville revue. One of my first Westerns — it gave me a real love for the Wild West. And mayoral duties.

In the Wild West town of Dusty Gulch, California, saloon owner and narrator Kathy Sassy spins the wildest tale she knows: the day somebody kidnapped the Sheriff. To tell it, she needs the crowd's help — because she can never quite remember the name of the terrifying Evil Bandit behind it all, so the audience names him fresh at every show.
A five-actor western musical mystery written for melodrama houses, but played earnest at heart — equal parts whodunit, hoedown, and audience free-for-all.
